One of the more authentic experiences you can get at Keihoku is staying at one of its traditional thatched roof houses that date back to 150 years ago. Hideo Uyeda, local guide and owner of this thatched house, was born and raised in the house just like his 6 previous generations of ancestors. Despite having travelled around the world, Hideo still loves to call Keihoku home and is highly involved in countryside activities.
